Phil's Breakfast Hash Recipe

Ingredients:

Can of Baked Beans

Bacon

Sausage (breakfast or mild works best)

Several Eggs (feel free to omit if they’re still pricey)

Frozen Hashbrowns

Porridge of Your Choice (I prefer Cream of Wheat)

Brown Sugar

A lemon

Recipe:

Step 1 - Cook your beans, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and porridge according to the instructions on the packaging.

Step 2 - If you’re anything like Phil, go ahead and overcook everything just a smidge. (Note: This is not actually recommended!)

Step 3 - Cook your eggs however you prefer them! (I like mine sunny-side up with a runny yolk or scrambled with lots of cheese, but this one is up to you!)

Step 4 - Add a small spoonful of brown sugar to your porridge.

Step 5 - Mix your beans, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns together. Add eggs and porridge on top.

Step 6 - Squeeze lemon overtop of everything and… enjoy? (Note: If sometimes have trouble getting juice from your lemons, roll it on your counter while pressing down on it gently before cutting and squeezing.)
